Our client, a leader in the building materials sector with a commitment to sustainability and innovation, is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager (BDM). This hybrid position is designed to expand the company's reach and increase revenue within key market sectors along the East coast.

Job Overview:

The company is renowned for its contributions to creating eco-friendly and advanced building solutions. As a BDM, you will be responsible for cultivating a robust business demand strategy, nurturing client relationships, and scouting for new business ventures. The role spans a broad range of industries, including warehouse and industrial, recreational, heritage, government and military projects, as well as retail conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the demand for insulation materials within the market.
  • Support the implementation and success of major projects and related local marketing efforts.
  • Realise strategic business development plans to meet and exceed annual and long-term sales goals.
  • Deliver monthly reports and forecasts, evaluating progress against targets.
  • Perform comprehensive market analysis to understand competitor offerings.
  • Conduct in-depth industry research to craft compelling sales propositions.
  • Engage in collaborative business meetings to inform and align with stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven background in engaging with a diverse clientele, including commercial and residential builders, subcontractors, architects, and building suppliers.
  • A history of success in a Business Development role, with experience in generating product specifications.
